I bought my first Garlic Chop in November 2018. I loved it so much that I purchased 5 more.. 4 I gifted, one as a spare.
Over time, the original Garlic Chop was holding up great and when a friend and I were cooking together, he was so impressed I gave him my spare. Why not, right? My original one was going strong.
Alas, a couple days ago I got lazy and tossed the disassembled Chop in the silverware caddy in the bottom of the dishwasher. I forgot I had the heat/dry cycle turned on and when I went to reassemble the white disc in the center, I found it has shrunk from the heat and the openings would no longer fit over the grinding teeth.
No problem! Went to Amazon to order another and what??? not available!
I was so relieved that this website URL was on the bottom of the chopper and that your website is still selling them!
I am now placing an order for 3 more. I use a lot of fresh garlic in my cooking and NOTHING beats this Garlic Chopper. I shreds and bruises the garlic just right to get the absolute most flavor and aroma from the garlic.
If you use fresh smashed-then-chopped garlic with a knife and cutting board, you need to buy one of these, just do it and thank me later.
I tossed the inner ring/plate, but the body of the original Garlic Chopper now has a proud place on the windowsill above my sink. I can't tell you how much garlic was processed with it, but let's just say it was more that 10 braids of Gilroy garlic...

This review is a bit unique. I recently bought two Garlic Chops, both intended as gifts to friends who do more cooking than I do.
Before gifting one Garlic Chop, with the OK of the intended recipient, I tried the Garlic Chop myself. I was making chicken thighs and wanted to season the dinner with fresh-chopped garlic.
I am very happy with how comfortable your Garlic Chop is to hold, load and then use for grinding the garlic! The garlic bud was far better chopped with the Garlic Chop than I could have done on my cutting board. Your Garlic Chop was also very easy to wash (and then gift)!
Both recipients are very pleased with Garlic Chops as presents!!
